Introduction to Grant & Proposal Writing for Non-Profits

If you’re new to grant and proposal writing, you don’t want to miss this class! Students will learn the most important preliminary steps needed to begin their first “successful” proposal. There are unlimited grant opportunities, but how do you find them? You will learn how in this class! Students will also learn the difference between foundations and government grants, and how to submit proposals for each. Best of all…each student will have the opportunity to complete a current grant application in class!

Start a Grant-Writing or Nonprofit Consulting Business

 Students will learn the fundamentals of operating an ethical and successful grant-writing or nonprofit consulting business. They will learn how to define and price their services; how to market their new business; and how to create a growing client list.

Responding to a Rejected Grant Proposal

This class will help students to understand how to respond to a rejected grant proposal. Students will learn

the immediate steps to take after their grant proposal is rejected; how to use any rejection as a tool for creating

partnerships, and alliances; and how to increase the chances of getting their proposals approved…even

after it’s been formally rejected!

Become a Community Educator/Trainer

Have you ever thought about becoming a community education instructor? This class is for you! In this  class, students will learn how to develop ideas for classes and trainings; how to market their classes and training ideas; how to schedule local and national training sessions; and how to set their rates.
